Galleon is a Java application which means it requires the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to be installed for it to run on your computer. Once Galleon is running on your computer, you can access its applications on your TiVo DVR.

Requirements

• A TiVo Series 2 or Series 3 or HD DVR with at least version 7.2.1 software.
• At least 256MB of RAM (on your computer) is recommended.

Downloads

Downloads are available from SourceForge on this page.

Windows

Runs on Windows XP and later.  Probably works on Windows 2000, but not tested.

• galleon-2.5.5.exe (required): The Windows executable version of the Galleon installation wizard. This Windows installation wizard includes the JRE 5.0.

Linux

• Java Runtime Environment version 5.0 (required): Download the free JRE 5.0 for your platform.
• galleon-linux-2.5.5.zip (required): The zipped binaries for Galleon.

Unix/OS X

Runs on Mac OS X 10.4 and later.  Requires Java runtime support (provided by Apple).

• Galleon-2.5.5.dmg (required): The disk image containing the Galleon installer.

After you have downloaded all of the neccessary software, follow the installation instructions.
